Staying Upright Online Course
Develop your brace and recovery strokes
This course is designed to keep you upright and help you recover without having to resort to a full roll. A lot of the exercises are in calm waters where we will develop foundations and understanding for use in conditions. Simon will help you understand your kayak and how it edges and ways to keep in balance using your body. We will also need to look at the mental side of stability and how being tense or nervous can be a critical factor. We will then help you develop key strokes and techniques to keep you in balance ie braces and recovery strokes to bring you back into balance if you go too far. We will show you ways to work with a partner to develop your skills in a safe controlled way.

Great videos that really shows all the aspects of different strokes and skills. would recommend it for both novice kayakers as well as experienced paddlers. Lots of useful tips for me as a coach too.

This course is brilliant - very well put together with high definition footage and easy to understand descriptions of techniques. I have used much of the course material on the water and in theory and it is faultless. I just keep going over and over and it never gets old. Great job guys - I thoroughly recommend to beginner, intermediate and enthusiasts alike - great stuff
