Exciting Plans for Online Sea Kayaking in 2025

At Online Sea Kayaking, we’re always striving to bring you fresh, innovative content that enhances your skills and inspires your paddling adventures. As we look ahead to 2025, we’re thrilled to share a sneak peek at some exciting projects in the works. We’re embarking on two major filming ventures next year, each packed with invaluable learning opportunities for sea kayakers of all levels.

Rock Hopping Course: Filming Locations:- USA, Wales, and Cornwall

Rock hopping or Rock gardening is one of the most thrilling ways to explore the coastline, combining technical paddling, precise boat handling, and a sense of adventure. For 2025, we’re diving into a new Rock Hopping Course that will showcase the beauty and challenges of rocky coastlines.  We will be heading to the West Coast of the US to capture some long wave period conditions and combining this with content filmed in Wales, and Cornwall.

We’re delighted to be working with two phenomenal coaches: Kelly Marie Henry and Laura Zulliger. Their expertise, enthusiasm, and deep understanding of coastal environments will help bring this course to life. Expect hands-on techniques for navigating rocky coastlines, to help you build confidence in tricky conditions, all beautifully captured to inspire your next coastal adventure.

Greenland Rolling Course: Traditional Skills in Focus

We’re also excited to expand our library with a Greenland Rolling Course, diving deep into the traditional paddling techniques that form the foundation of kayaking. This course will focus on the unique skills and artistry of Greenland rolling.

For this project, we’re honored to collaborate with two world-renowned Greenland paddlers: Maligiaq Padilla and Cherry Perry. The course will be filmed on the stunning coast of Spain, offering a perfect clear waters for demonstrating the techniques. Whether you’re just starting with Greenland paddling or looking to refine your repertoire of rolls, this course will be packed with inspiration and detailed instruction and exercises to take your skills to the next level.

While these two projects are our main focus, 2025 has even more in store! We’re planning additional filming to expand our library further, ensuring there’s something for everyone in the sea kayaking community.
